A 3 hr introductory classes:- 1 to 1 (£80)  or you and a friend (£140) in Nettie's home studio to make a medium sized plaster cast.
Join Nettie in her studio for a relaxing, mindfulness morning or afternoon exploring the ancient technique of botanical casting. In this workshop you will learn the principals of the process including rolling out the clay, designing and arranging fresh plant materials, mixing plaster and choosing a suitable mould to create your own unique piece of art to hang on your wall at home. Whilst your plaster cast sets we will have refreshments and learn about how to sand and finish your art when it is full dried. Then it’s time for the exciting ‘reveal’ - pulling off the clay from your cast!This is a hands on messy activity - so wear old clothes or bring an apron! All materials and botanicals will be provided but you are also welcome to bring your own plants and flowers if you wish.
