‘Rooted’ is an expression of being settled and belonging - to be ‘rooted’ in your environment. The roots represent your secure grounding – the bulbs are the emotional powerhouse that exists in us all and allows you to grow - the stems and flowers are the heights you can reach beyond visible horizons with this rooted security. The plaster cast contains three spring bulbs, Snowdrop, Daffodil and Grape Hyacinth.This piece reflects a life 'rooted' in your local environment. Everyday sping plants growing as the first signals of a new year, new life. The cast includes Daffodil, Muscari and Snowdrop bulbs from tip to toe. A real science/nature/art cross over piece.
