Pressed wildflower art. Handpicked, traditionally slow pressed, local autumn leaves on large black canvas. There are two seperate collections within this canvas. The upper area, mainly Japenese Maples and Acers were collected from the small arboretum at Oare with the landlords permission. The ferns and moss at the bottom are from West Woods - famous for the 20 tonne sarsen stones which were transpoted to Stonehenge.
The leaves are secured using E6000 adhesive and the canvas is then treated with an archival matte varnish to preserve colours. Size 60cm x 20cm
